Synopsis:

Love in Singapore tells the story of Machchu, who grew up in the streets and later became a scrap dealer. Though illiterate and poor, he works his way up in life. He is a do-gooder kind of guy who helps everyone around him. Machchu has as his close aides Shukoor and Narayanan.

Once Machchu happens to meet Andrews Pereira, a rich businessman settled in Singapore. Andrews Pereira and his daughter Diana, who are on a visit to India, are impressed with the honesty and straightforward nature of Machchu. Andrews Pereira takes Machchu to Singapore. From there Machchu's life takes a new turn.
