Synopsis :
A story about human relationships, it is about a truth which turns the world of the people in it, upside down in a moment.
Meet Meera & Dev. They play the on-screen Couple living in New York. After a few years of marriage and togetherness, they seem to have lost the magic in their relationship.
There is loneliness, confusion, compromise and sex. It is the eve of Holi, a festival that heralds the coming of spring in India. Dev and Meera plan a get-together with a few close friends and relatives at their place.
The other characters are: Javed a cocky, flamboyant New York based struggling filmmaker and a friend of Dev and Meera; Jenny, Javed's girl friend, an aspiring actor who has concealed her immense love for Javed; Vani, Meera's elder sister; her son Vikram, a 17-year-old teenager, who is unlike his peers, thanks to his over-protective mother. And Shekhar, Vani's husband, who has almost no ambitions, and consequently, no success.
Then there is Sujata, who is wedded to an American born Indian Nimish, who is a doctor by profession. Nimish is a guy, who believes excessively, in his gender superiority. Preeti, meanwhile, is Sujata's younger sister - a complete party animal, a rich spoilt New Age girl.
There is also Megan, a Tarot card reader and a friend and well wisher of Dev and Meera. Asa Taft features as a stinking rich Texan who arrives at the party scene with company literally "HOOKED". Rich Smooth is the guy next door, reputed with the noble act of packing off his better half and kids merely to make merry with hookers. As time passes by the guests get involved in each other's lives and the relaxed evening takes a dramatic turn when an unexpected, unmentionable incident before the celebrations, triggers tipsy party goers to confess their inner most secrets that have never been revealed. The results are catastrophic as this seemingly harmless game gets out of hand.
The truth is a bitter pill of betrayal and shattered illusions.
What is their karma? Where will their confessions take them? What colors will they wear this Holi? Come; discover the truth as this Karmic encounter of cultural confluences comes full cycle.
